Deletes the downloaded media AND releases the stored offline license.

For DRM'd downloads, pass the item (same DrmConfig incl. token provider used for add) so the Widevine release request to the license server can authenticate — otherwise, on token-authorized deployments, the server-side release fails silently and that device's offline slot leaks until it expires. Local data is deleted either way.
