release
Stop tracking the device for a deferred orientation restore. Call when the player that owns this handler goes away.
A fullscreen exit while the device is still physically landscape locks the activity portrait and arms a sensor listener that restores the original orientation only once the device is aligned again. If the player is released before that happens — the user backs out of the screen — the listener outlives it and fires INTO WHATEVER SCREEN IS UP NEXT, overwriting that screen's own orientation with a value captured for a screen that no longer exists (observed: a portrait-pinned demo list turning rotatable). Releasing applies the pending restore now, so the activity is left exactly where a completed unlock would have left it, and nothing fires later.
