Terms of use
Last updated: 18 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the OGPlayer software development kits for Android, iOS and the web (the "SDK"), a product of Inverse DOO ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the SDK you agree to these terms.
1. Free evaluation
The SDK is free to use for development, testing and evaluation. Without a license key it is fully functional and renders an OGPlayer watermark over the video. There is no time limit and no sign-up: evaluate for as long as you need, in as many internal builds as you need.
2. Production use requires a license
Using the SDK in a production application — any app, site or service made available to end users — requires a commercial license, whether or not the watermark is displayed. The watermarked build is an evaluation build, not a free production tier. To license OGPlayer for production, contact sales@ogplayer.tv.
3. The watermark and license keys
- You may not remove, hide, obscure or tamper with the watermark by any means other than a valid license key.
- License keys are issued under a license agreement and are confidential: do not publish them or share them outside the licensed organization.
- A key is valid only for the applications and scope named in your license agreement.
4. What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or offer the SDK (or a derivative of it) as your own SDK, library or competing product.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the SDK, except to the extent a mandatory law expressly permits it.
- Use the SDK to infringe third-party rights, including streaming content you have no right to stream.
5. Ownership
The SDK, its documentation and the OGPlayer name and mark remain the property of Inverse DOO. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the SDK as described above — they transfer no ownership. Third-party components embedded in or required by the SDK (for example hls.js, AndroidX Media3, Google IMA) remain subject to their own licenses.
6. No warranty
The evaluation SDK is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inverse DOO is not liable for any damages arising from use of the evaluation SDK. Warranty, support and liability terms for production use are set out in the commercial license agreement.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always at ogplayer.tv/terms. Changes do not retroactively affect a signed license agreement.
8. Contact & governing law
